2003...I think that's 8?
How and when did you become a BTE fan?
I knew "Good" as that song from the "Babysitter's Club" movie but as
I was oblivious in my younger years I didn't know it was BTE. I bought
the "X-Files soundtrack" and I liked "One More Murder." But the clincher
was when I heard "At the Stars" on the radio like, constantly. I
ran out and bought "HDYGG?" and got "Friction, Baby" and "Deluxe" soon
after.
Where was your most memorable live show, and why was it so good
(uh-huh)?
Had to have been the Pre-Jazzfest show @ HOB in 2002...I was front
row and it was the first time I met Kevin. |

What's the best live BTE song? And your favorite cover?
"Get You In" and "Porcelain" are probably the sexiest things I've
ever heard. My favorite cover -- "Use Me"...its especially fun to
dance to and when there's a disco ball around, watch out!!
Are you a bootleg collector? What's your favorite?
Not really...but I do have this mix of live and acoustic songs that
my friend Scott made me years ago. The "Long Lost" on it is amazing.
What BTE song do you wish would come back? "Southern Gurl."
Which BTE song do you request (if any) to be played live?
"Hung the Moon."
Which BTE opening band would you recommend and why?
World Leader Pretend. Their sound is so different from anything else out
there and they're unafraid to take chances with their music or live
performance. The August 2003 show in New Orleans with WLP/BTE was like
my dream concert billing.
Been on any outrageous road trips?
Well, since I'm in New Orleans for most of the year, most of my
"road trips" involve trying to get from Uptown to Downtown at breakneck
speed trying to make it early to HOB shows because for some reason I'm
always late.
Do you hang with other Ezralites?
Just several of my sorority sisters who also happen to be huge
Ezralites.
What other bands do you really like?
World Leader Pretend, Radiohead, The Strokes, Doves, Death Cab
for Cutie, Interpol, Grandaddy, Coldplay, Remy Zero, Dave Matthews Band.
Anything else you'd like to share with your fellow ezralites?
I have a secret love for Jim...I needed to get it out in the open.
